Kalicharan Maharaj was born in 1973 in the Akola district of Maharashtra. As Akola is located in the Vidarbha region, Maharaj has stronger connections with Madhya Pradesh. However, in his language, one can sense the influence of Marathi touch. Maharaj’s father’s name is Dhananjayrao, and his mother’s name is Sunita Devi.

Kalicharan Maharaj received his primary education from a private school in Maharashtra. Due to his innate devotion to God since childhood, he pursued his studies only up to the eighth grade.
