Sunita Kapoor is a former model and fashion stylist. She is the wife of popular Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. Sunita is the mother of Sonam, Rhea, and Harshvardhan Kapoor who works predominantly in the Indian cinema. She currently designs costumes and is a costume designer by profession.

Born:

Sunita Kapoor was born in New Delhi on 25th January 1965. She belongs to a Hindu family. Her real name is Sunita Bhambani. Sunita has a sibling.

Career:

She started her career as a model. She was known as a successful model during her modeling days. She has a younger sister named Kavita, who also worked in Bollywood.

After her marriage to Anil Kapoor, she left modeling and took responsibility for her household duties. She is a Bollywood costume member by profession. who works as a fashion stylist for heroes and heroines in many Bollywood movies. She also designs clothes for her husband, Anil Kapoor, in his films.
She used to accompany Anil on his outdoor shoots.

Sunita Kapoor married Anil Kapoor on 19th May 1984 in a private Hindu ceremony. Their marriage is not less than a Bollywood movie. The couple had dated for 11 years before getting married. They used to date each other for a better understanding.
Their love story eventually started as a prank call when one of the anil’s friends gave Sunita his number as a prank call. She called him, and he felt for his voice. They met together for the first time at a friend’s house.

During her modeling days, she often canceled her photoshoots to spend quality time with Anil Kapoor. She used to pay his Cab fares. when Anil struggled as an actor in the Bollywood industry.

Anil used to visit her by bus; she supported him by paying his fares happily as he didn’t have to call her by Bus. Thus their bond increased as strong over the years.

Initially, Sunita’s parents were not happy with this marriage proposal. But later on, they approved her marriage with Anil Kapoor.
After the release of Anil Kapoor’s film Meri Jung on 18th May 1984, they tied the knot on 19th May. It was Sunita’s idea as she wished to get married. She said that it’s either tomorrow or never.
The couple has been together for over 46 years and defines their relationship goals.
She has three children, 2 daughters and a younger Son namely Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Harshvardhan Kapoor who are successful in their predominantly fields as an actor, producer, media personality.
Her daughters own a clothing brand called ‘Rheson.’
