Sunil Lahri Biography in Details
Sunil Lahri is famous for portraying the role of Lakshman in the historic television show “Ramayan”, directed by Ramanand Sagar. He is an Indian actor by profession. He has acted in the Bollywood film “Phir Aayee Barsat” with Anuradha Patel. Before the release of this movie, our prime minister Indira Gandhi sent her best wishes to the crew and film.
Sunil Lahri was born on 9th January 1961 in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh to a middle-class family. His father, Dr. Shikhar Chandra Lahri was a professor in medical college who passed in the year 2012. His mother’s name is Tara Lahri. His Zodiac sign is Capricorn. Sunil has 3 siblings, a sister, and two brothers.
Sunil Lahri got married twice. His first wife was Radha Sen, and his second wife is Bharathi Pathak. He has two children namely Krish Pathak and Gauri Pathak. He has graduated with educational Qualifications.

Since his childhood, Sunil Lahri has been more fascinated with acting. He used to participate in the school’s extracurricular activities. When his family decided to shift to Bhopal from Damoh he was quite surprised.
He moved to Mumbai to fulfill his acting career from Bhopal. Due to his great personality and acting skills, he was offered the role of Lakshman in Ramayan which gained him popularity among the viewers.
When it comes to films Sunil didn’t have an impressive career. He made his debut in 1980 in the film ” The Naxalites” starring Smita Patel and Mithun Chakraborty which was a box office disaster.
The film song “Dekho Yeh Chokri” from the Phir Aayee Barsat movie was a big hit even when the film was a flop at the box office.
Lahri didn’t have to struggle much to get work in Mumbai. So Sunil shifted his base to television shows. After the remarkable success of the Ramayan series. He appeared in various shows playing different roles which include Dada Dadi ki Kahaniyan and Vikram Aur Betaal.
Sunil Lahri also appeared in another Hit TV show Param Vir chakra in 1990 as second lieutenant Rama Raghoba Rane directed by Chetan Anand.
In 1991, He acted in “Baharon ki Manzil” a Bollywood film which was directed by Madhava Rao.
During the year 1995, he acted in a film named “Janam Kundli” like a son to the actor Vinod Khanna and he also appeared in a TV show called “Sapno ki Duniya”.
