Safin Hasan is the youngest IPS Officer Who Was elected at the age of 22. Despite all the odds, he cleared three levels of UPSC examinations at the age of 22.

Born:

Safin Hasan was born on July 21st, in the year 1995, in Kanodar Village of Palanpur district Gujarat. He was brought up in an economically Weak family. He follows the Islam religion. He belongs to Julaya Caste. Safin was a bright Student during his Schooling days.

Early Days Of Career:

Safin did his graduation in B.Tech course from the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute Of Technology in Surat. Right from his school days, he aspired to become IAS Officer. Once he was in school, a collector visited his school for inspection. Everyone was respecting him politely. When he asked his aunt about this, she said to him. That an IAS Officer is a respectable Post.

On that day, he became determined to pursue civil services. He attempted the UPSC examination for the first time in 2017. while on his way to the test, he met with an accident that caused him several injuries. He still went to attempt his test. Later on, he was rushed to the hospital to undergo Knee ligament Surgery.

After all of this, he achieved an AIR of 570. His Civil Services Coaching and Examination expenditure was provided by a couple named Mr. Hussain Bhai and Mrs. Jarinaben to afford his New Delhi study.

During his UPSC interview in 2018, he was admitted to Gujarat hospital for Urinary infection and a high rise of upper white blood cells.
He just flew back to New Delhi for two days for the interview. However, he flew back to Gujarat to get hospitalized as his WBC reached peak and tonsils problems. Later on, he was discharged from the hospital and attended the interview on 23rd March 2018as. He was the second-Highest Scorer in the discussion.

After his interview, he was selected as an IPS Officer. However, he wanted to become IAS Officer. But he settled for IPS to serve his country at the age of 22.
Throughout the year 2018-19, he underwent police training in 2019 on 23rd December. He was posted as the Assistant Superintendent of University Police Jamnagar.

Facts:

• Safin Hasan often spends his free time teaching Slum kids. He also volunteers for many NGOs.
• To make ends meet. Both Safin’s mother and father used to work for long hours. His mother used to work as a local cook in homes, banquet halls. At the same time, his father used to work as a part-time electrician to fund their Son’s education.
• He scored 92% marks in his board exams. In his district, a school reduced his fees by 50% to study there. He Only learned English when he was in Class 11th.
• He used to give tuitions during his summer and winter vacations for pocket money.
• When he was selected as the youngest IPS Officer in India, many and shows and News channels interviewed him. The honorable chief minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani, complimented him.
• Despite all the odds Safin faced during his early days. Safin was determined to fulfill his goal of becoming a civil service agent and pursued r.
• During his free time, he plays with dogs. He is an avid animal lover.
• I actually wanted to join IAS but I could not clear the exam. Hence I decided to pursue my career as an IPS officer and will use this opportunity to serve my country
