Amish Devgan is an Indian Journalist, Tv anchor, editor from New Delhi. He is famous for hosting the popular debate show ‘Aar Paar,’ aired on News 18. He is known for his impeccable style of debating with opponents. He is also known as Arnab Goswami of the Hindi News Channel.

Amish Devgan was born on 1st March 1984 in New Delhi to a middle-class Hindu family. He is married to Kanika Sharma, and they have two children. He currently lives in Noida with his family.
Career
Amish Devgan pursued Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from Delhi University. He started his career as a desk reporter at Hindustan Times, a publishing company, in 2002. After a year, Amish joined Zee Media as a Business reporter. Later on, he started working as a prime-time anchor for the channel “Zee Business” in 2005.
Amish was promoted to the editor-in-chief for his excellence and impeccable journalism style in the Zee Business Channel.
After working for 14 years, he quit his job at Zee Business. He then joined IBN 7 and Started working as an executive director and anchor for News 18 in 2016.
He hosted the popular debate show ‘Aar Paar’ on this Channel, which gained immense popularity from audiences. He is currently working at News 18. He hosts a debate show on current political situations.
Controversy
One of the debate episodes shows ‘Aar Paar’ unpleasant remark against Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and referred to him as Lootera Chishti. He received backlash from the Raza Academy and netizens on his social media accounts. The Raza Academy filed a complaint against him in Hyderabad.
One more complaint was lodged against him from Bahadurpura Police Station in Hyderabad.
Later on, He apologized for his mistake on his social media platform. He even accepted his misjudgment. He referred to being a follower of the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti as he has gone to his darbar at Ajmer many times.
